It was almost time for Ollie to head back to Chestnut Ridge, and she still had soooo much stuff to do in Ciudad Enamorada, mostly for her aspiration, which the Watcher completely forgot about. Nettie still followed her steps, not understanding that Ollie genuinely didn’t have time to play with her. For example, today she had another date with Diego. It was Cookie Day, so he brought her a box of cream puffs. Honestly, all his little ideas were ridiculously charming, and Ollie felt like she was living inside a romance movie. So when he invited her to prom, she agreed without even hesitating. After the wedding, Ollie stayed at Bas' place for a few days. For one thing, she wanted to spend some time with her dad, and for another, she seriously needed to catch up with Elena. It had been forever since they’d seen each other! She was just on her way to visit her now.  She couldn’t wait to see what her friend thought about her new look.  Nettie followed her around nonstop, whining for Ollie to play with her. The Country Music Festival in Chestnut Ridge. For a week now, that was literally all anyone could talk about. The preparations took over the small town’s daily life and gave the locals a whole new spark. Even the weather chilled out a little, it got warmer, and the snow was melting fast. The schedule obviously included performances from famous musicians, charity fundraising, food, drinks, and overall good vibes. That’s how Chestnut Ridge celebrated Kindness Day. Mrs. Grove kept a sharp eye on everything. She watched critically as Ehane and Don attached taps to the juice barrels. Don didn’t exactly nail it, what a waste of perfectly good juice.
