3. SHE SPEAKS KOMOREBIGO!

Akito: Well, look who it is!

Klara: Oh, hi! I didn’t know you had classes here too.

Akito: Yep, totally by chance - the Watcher didn't cause it! So, how’s your Komorebigo coming along?

Klara: I'm getting there; I’ve reached level 2. Łataszi ła Klara des? Did I say that right?

Akito: Not bad at all! I have to head into the building now. See you next time.

(Klara really likes Akito—whenever she’s around him, she gets an automatic happiness moodlet!)

Klara: Konichiwa, Zelda-san!

Zelda: Whoa! That’s so cool! You’re speaking Komorebigo! How did that happen?

Klara: Well, I felt bad that we’re roommates and couldn’t even have a conversation. So, I took a few lessons. But hey, your Simlish sounds way better too!

Zelda: Of course! I’m at level 7 now—studying in Britechester has its perks. So, shall we catch up on some gossip?

In the UBrite Quad, an official Debate Showdown begins. Students from Britechester and Foxbury are here to show which team is better.

Zoe: And even though this game doesn’t have an open world like The Sims 3, all my arguments clearly show we still deserve proper cars and horses.

Klara: Zoe! Zoe! Applause for Britechester University! Wow! You crushed it!

Zoe: Thanks. It wasn’t too hard to win—pretty much everyone agrees EA should give us cars. So, when are you joining the Debate Showdown?

Klara: I need a bit more time to prepare…

Hot Sim: Hey, want my number?

Klara: Uh… I have to go.

Everyone is buzzing about the weekly soccer match. Even Klara is in high spirits, breaking into a wild dance!

Klara: For our own good, showers should be shorter. Less water used means lower bills in Eco Lifestyle, and the saved time can be spent on other activities.

Zoe: Practicing on a Sunday?

Klara: I thought I was alone. I wanted to practice without an audience… What are you doing here? There’s no Debaters’ Guild meeting today.

Zoe: I just like coming here; the building has a vibe. How about a quick round? Let’s see how you’re doing!

(Klara wins!)

Zoe: Congrats, girl! I hereby promote you to Experienced Member of the Debaters’ Guild!

The next day, Klara rushes to her exam.

Zoe: Good luck! I’m done with mines, so now I’m relaxing by stargazing in the middle of the quad.

Akito: How were your exams?

Klara: Awful... I think I totally bombed (Mis)interpreting Statistics. Also, once I accidentally missed classes and didn’t do one homework assignment. In this game, that basically means a failing grade!

Akito: Oh, come on, it can’t be that bad. But it looks like you need a break. How about some coffee?

Klara: Coffee? Always!

Akito: I love this place—they make great espresso. So, Klara, tell me about yourself.

Klara: There’s not much to tell. The Watcher created me to start a legacy, but I don’t know if I’m cut out for it. It’s such a big responsibility and so much pressure. My insecurity doesn’t help. Honestly, just thinking about it now, I feel like I’m having a panic attack... There are so many Sims here… Is it always this crowded? I feel a bit dizzy…

Akito: It’s okay. Let me walk you back to the dorm.

Klara: It’s much better here. I think everyone’s asleep already. If you’ve got a bit more time, could you explain the difference between these words? They sound almost the same... Komorebigo is such a tough language!

Akito: Of course, let’s go over it!

Klara did end up failing (Mis)interpreting Statistics, but not as badly as she thought. Thankfully, her other courses boosted her GPA. Time to start the second semester! 🎓
