Laura: Sometimes it’s still hard for me to believe this isn’t a dream.

Bas: Same here. I just can’t get enough of you.

Laura: It’s absolutely perfect. I love you, Bas.

Laura: I’m just a little nervous about Ollie coming back. You haven’t told her about us yet, right?

Bas: No. I want to tell her face to face, when she gets here.

Laura: And what if she doesn’t like me?

Bas: You? You’re impossible not to like. Don’t worry for nothing.

Laura: You really think everything will be okay?

Bas: I promise it will be.

Laura: Don’t promise something you can’t guarantee.

Bas: Come here. Instead of stressing for no reason, let’s make the most of our last days without Ollie in the house.

Laura: Oh yeah?

Bas: Oh yes. Because later I won’t be able to have you all day in bed.

Laura: I feel wonderful with you.

Bas: Me too. Maybe I should tell my mom that something came up and we can’t go to Del Sol Valley?

Laura: Are you serious? It’s her big day. You can’t do that to her. Besides, the hotel in DSV will definitely have a big bed too.

In San Sequoia, Maja was struggling with her knitting.

Maja: Why is this so hard?! It’s just making me angry.

Jace: Then why are you doing it?

Maja: Because I want to learn different ways of creating clothes and become a better stylist!

Meanwhile, Filip was cooking something in the kitchen, probably something sweet.

The big day finally arrived: Maja and Izi (in new outfits by ice-creamforbreakfast) were able to place their celebrity tiles on Starlight Boulevard.

Izi: You didn’t have to wait for me to place your tile.

Maja: We always do everything together. Did you forget already?

The party was small, for close friends only.

Jace: I’d like to raise a toast to two incredible women who have achieved so much. I’m lucky to be married to one of them.

Enue: And I’m lucky to be married to the other.

Maja dragged Izi to karaoke. This was the one and only time in Izi’s life that she agreed. Even though the stage was her element as a DJ, singing had never been her favorite thing.

Laura: Your mom is amazing. I wish I had that much energy at her age.

Bas: Just don’t tell her that. I mean, the part about her age. She’s a bit sensitive about it. She says she and Izi are planning to boycott their next birthdays so no one can see them becoming little old ladies.

A lot of fans gathered around the building, so Maja and Izi decided to talk to them and pose for a few photos. And, at the same time, boost their egos a little. They weren’t as recognizable as actors or singers, and they knew it.

After her success on social media, Maja officially became a stylist. Famous, dressing celebrities, but still “just” a stylist.

And Izi, after her loud but short DJ career, was now "only" helping others as a music producer. That made the fans’ reaction even more exciting for them.

Maja: We’ve still got it!

Izi: Friendship bracelet fist bump!

Maja: Best friends forever!

Izi: To the end of the world and one day longer!

Laura: Where did you learn to dance like that?

Bas: My dad gave me a few lessons once. Said it would come in handy someday.

Laura: And he was right! OMW! Is that WILLOW VATORE?!

It really was Willow Vatore from the legacy by @neomaa.bsky.social, in her famous self! Completely by accident, I just never removed her from my save, so future generations of my Sims will be able to watch movies with her and get autographs 😄

Laura: This evening is perfect!

Bas: Hm… that’s a pretty high bar. But maybe I could try to make it just a little more perfect?

Laura: What do you want to do?

Bas: Laura… maybe it’s too soon. I’ve thought about this a lot. On one hand, I didn’t want to rush things—but on the other… I don’t want to wait anymore. Because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.

Bas: Laura, will you marry me?

Laura: I don’t want to wait either. Of course I’ll marry you! Oh my! It’s so beautiful!

Bas: It’s a family heirloom, made by my great-grandfather.

Laura: It’s perfect. You’re perfect.

Laura: Let’s go back to the hotel to celebrate.

They celebrated for a very long time. Until the wine and bubbles ran out.

Laura: I’m not tired at all.

Bas: Me neither.

Laura: But the water’s already cold. Maybe we should move to the room?
