11. UNLUCKY TRIP

Klara and Akito began their honeymoon.

Akito: Too bad we arrived so late. I thought I’d have time to show you something today.

Klara: Local food counts as “something,” too.

...But, sweetheart, you’re all tense again. Are you going to tell me what’s wrong?

Akito: Fine, I saw you flirting with Zoe at our wedding!

Klara: Zoe Patel?! Are you out of your llama mind?!!!



Akito: You two were hugging!

Klara: It was a friendly interaction! Zoe’s a friend. What’s wrong with you—are you glitched or something?



The weather in Yukimatsu isn’t great for sightseeing, but it does encourage conversations.



Akito: I think I overreacted yesterday. Maybe it really is some kind of game bug. Still, I can’t shake this feeling, so we need to talk.

Klara: Sweetheart, I don’t know how to reassure you, but you really don’t have to worry.




Klara: I love you so much, and I’d never cheat on you.

Akito: I know that, but it’s like I can’t control it.

Klara: Are you feeling better now, at least?

Akito: You know what? I think I am. I’ve definitely calmed down.



Because of the snowstorm, Klara and Akito had to stay in their lodging. Akito decided to cook a traditional dinner.

Akito: Llamatastic... I mixed up the recipes.

Klara: Don’t stress, honey. I’m sure it’ll be delicious.



Klara: You know, I have an idea—let’s visit the hot springs.

Akito: What about the snowstorm?

Klara: We’ll just teleport there anyway.



Akito: That was a great idea. Now I’ve got a great idea.



The next day brought clear, though freezing, weather—perfect for exploring.

Akito: I want to show you the old shrine and the statues by the cave.

Klara: Are you sure we’re not lost?

Akito: No, we’re close.



Akito: And here we are. Hmm... it seemed bigger before...

Akito: There’s a legend that the first Slayer came from this area. His village was frequently attacked by vampires. One day, he came here to the three monkey gods and prayed for a long time, asking for help.

...The next day, he woke up with incredible strength and the power to sense vampires. That’s how it all began—or so they say.



Akito: Now, let’s find the three monkey gods. We need to turn somewhere here.

Klara: Oh! I see them—it’s over there!

Akito: Aaaah!!!

...I’m fine!




Akito: Time for some photos.

Klara: I’ll make an offering. Maybe it’ll bring us good luck...

...Oops, that was too small for a gift.

...Aaaaah!!! What the llama?! What is that?! Help!!!




In the evening, Klara and Akito went sledding. Unfortunately, that didn’t go well either...

Akito: Now I think I actually broke something. Let’s head back to the lodge before we permanently damage ourselves.



The next day started just as unluckily—it seemed bad luck wouldn’t leave the Sims alone.

Klara: I give up! I’m not trying any more activities here!



Luckily, there was one activity Klara and Akito didn’t have to worry about.



At the very end of their vacation, Klara and Akito managed to catch the Festival of Light. Of course, they didn’t miss the tradition of writing wishes and hanging them on the tree.

Klara: “May we carry this legacy to at least 10 generations.” Let’s hope it comes true.



Akito: What’s going on here?! Enough of this! You’re not draining Sims’ plasma in my presence, plasma-drinker!

Lilith: Once again, you stand in my way, Slayer. You’ll regret interrupting my meal!



Akito: You don’t stand a chance against me, lowly leech.

Lilith: We’ll see about that...

Klara: Oh, it was amazing seeing you in action!

Akito: Let’s go home. I think we’ve had enough excitement for one honeymoon.

Chronicles of Del Sol Valley Izi's parents decided to take a break from the hustle of an ordinary city and went to an extraordinary city, full of celebrities on every corner. San Sequoia was close, so they first came to visit Izi, and then they started the actual vacation in Del Sol Valley. Hotspots were everywhere and full of famous Sims.
