12. EATING FOR TWO

Klara and Akito are back from their honeymoon and have returned to their daily routines. Autumn has arrived along with the school year, so Klara is back at work.

Klara: I feel so huge! What if...

...YES!!!

...Honey! I’m pregnant!

Akito: We’re going to be parents? That’s amazing news!



Klara: I’ve been thinking... we should finally set some rules for our legacy. You know, inheritance and all that.

Akito: Aren’t the rules always the same?

Klara: No, you can decide them yourself. I suggest the heir should always be the eldest child.



Akito: Okay, and how about the money gets split evenly between all the kids? What about the house?

Klara: The heir can live wherever they want once they’re an adult.

Akito: Sounds good. And let’s make sure they don’t inherit traits, just in case they somehow get the Slayer’s powers.



Akito finally found time to gather the materials needed to craft the Ring of Protection. With the last piece—metal—found, he can now return to Lady Volpe.

Akito: Lady, I’ve got all the items.

Lady Volpe: Wonderful! I didn’t think you’d return so quickly.



Akito: Here they are. I really need to start actively hunting because the vampires are getting bolder. They attacked during the Festival, right in front of all the Sims!

Lady Volpe: That’s horrifying... The ring is yours. Remember to always wear it; this way, the Reaper won’t claim you, even if a fight doesn’t go your way. Take this second book on vampirism as well—may it aid you in your battles.



Klara and Akito already know the baby’s gender, and they decided to take advantage of Discount Day to furnish the nursery and freshen up the house interior a bit.



The nursery, it’s still a work in progress—more toys will come with time. 😊

The home refresh

I didn’t want to stray too far from Henford’s style (plus, the Drozds don’t have a big budget yet 😅), but a wallpaper change and a few small details were enough to give the interior a slightly new character.



Zelda: Wow, girl, you’re huge! Must be a boy.

Klara: It’s the third trimester already...

Sara: Do you have a name yet?

Klara: We’ll probably just see what gets randomized at birth.

...I can’t wait!



Klara: Who wants to feel the baby kick and see the ultrasound photos?



Klara: AKITO!!! IT’S HAPPENING!!!

Akito: Just breathe! I’m teleporting us to the hospital right now!



Doctor: You’ve got the realistic childbirth mod installed, so this might take a while. Try bouncing on the ball and walking around—it should help speed things up.

Klara: I can’t take it anymore...

Akito: I’m right here with you.

Klara: By the itchy plumbob!!! When will this end? We’ve been here nearly 24 hours!!!



Finally, Klara made it through!

Chronicles of Del Sol Valley Izi's parents decided to take a break from the hustle of an ordinary city and went to an extraordinary city, full of celebrities on every corner. San Sequoia was close, so they first came to visit Izi, and then they started the actual vacation in Del Sol Valley. Hotspots were everywhere and full of famous Sims.
