15. SIBLING
Filip had a nightmare, and Akito had to comfort him. Thankfully, he fell back asleep quickly.
The next morning, there was no trace of the nighttime sadness.
Klara: And what’s this?
Filip: Brum-brum!
Klara: Very good, son! Funny how they made flashcards with cars even though there aren’t any in the game. Maybe it’s a hint for a future update?
Akito: Don’t get your hopes up. Look how many years we’ve already been waiting.
Zelda stopped by for a visit.
Zelda: Hi, sweetie!
Klara: Look at you! You’ve been reworked by the Watcher too.
Zelda: The Watcher has been kind, that’s true. But don’t worry, your turn will come soon—you’re the founder of the legacy, after all!
Taking advantage of Zelda's visit, the family had a family photo shoot in their backyard.
Filip clearly liked Aunt Zelda. He danced with her and showed off his favorite toy, Kitty.
Zelda: How are you feeling? Are you doing any prenatal exercises?
Klara: Oh, come on, there’s nothing like that in this game.
Zelda: You could try yoga.
Klara: I hadn’t thought of that.
Klara: Oh, I think it’s time.
Zelda: Let me check... Yes, it’s starting. It’s probably too late to go to the hospital. You’ll have to give birth here. I can assist—I’m a doctor, after all.
Klara: ...
Zelda: Remember to breathe. Maybe you should lie down?
Klara: My belly feels so weird.
Zelda: OMW! This game has so many graphical glitches.
The stressed-out dad, of course, showed up—pacing nervously behind the door.
Zelda: Now push! Go, Britechester!
Klara: What are you doing?!
Zelda: I’m chanting the Britechester fight song to cheer you on. You’re doing great! Keep it up!
Welcome to the world, little Piotr Drozd!
Filip, unfortunately, isn’t thrilled about his new sibling. The clingy little one seems worried someone will steal his mommy and daddy.
Akito: Don’t cry, son. Mommy and Daddy will always love you. You’ll see—it’ll be fun to have a sibling.
The next day, the family celebrated Akito’s birthday at The Gnome’s Arms bar in Henford.
Everyone: Surprise!!!
Akito: How did you manage to organize this? And who’s watching the kids?
Klara: Don’t worry, they’re at daycare—it’s just for a little while. I have a gift for you. Happy birthday!
Bjorn: So, Drozd, how’s life with two kids? Are they keeping you on your toes?
Akito: And your six, Bjergsen?
Bjorn: Touché...
Klara: Is it just me, or does the bar look different?
Sara Scott: Yes! The Watcher renovated it recently. Nice, isn’t it?
At home, Klara read Filip a bedtime story.
Klara: And so, Teddy realized that having a younger brother was the most simtastic thing in the world. The end.
See, Filip? You’re a big brother now, and your little brother will look up to you. You’ll have so much fun together, and you’ll teach him many things.
Klara: And since you’re such a big boy and an older brother, what do you say we get you a proper bed? We can go to the store tomorrow.
Filip: Filip big blotel!
Klara: Come here, my little, lovable clingy one.
The next day, Klara took Filip to the store to pick out a new bed.
Back at home, Filip started babbling to his baby brother! It seems he’s warming up to the newest family member.
Klara: For now, while Piotr is still a newborn, I think I’ll stay home. But later, I’ll need to go back to work. Thankfully, the newborn stage is short—I don’t have much leave left!
Akito: The boys can go to daycare together for a few hours. I’ll craft furniture during that time, and then I’ll pick them up.
Klara: Sounds like a plan!
