18. NEW FRIENDS

After a long absence, we’re back in Sulani, where our family currently has a visitor. Izi is staying for a few nights, and the girls can play all day long.



Unfortunately, even in Sulani, the weather sometimes turns bad. But there’s still plenty to do at home.

Izi: Story!

Maja: No. Mine.

Anna: And then the unicorn touched her with its horn, and she was healed. And they all lived happily ever after. The end.

Maja: I want ucorn.

Anna: It’s just a story, sweetheart. The Sims 4 doesn’t have real unicorns.



Maja: For Izi.

Izi: BFFs!

Maja: Yes!

Filip: Sweet dreams, kiddos.



Filip has a lot of work as a Marine Biologist. Every day, he explores the depths of Sulani, collecting samples for research. Together with his team of environmentalists, he’s working to restore the Island, planting new trees and cleaning up the beaches.

Loario: Today, we should focus on the area around the volcano.

Leilani: I think the waterfall is more at risk. I saw another dead fish there yesterday. And let’s not forget about the endangered frogs.



Filip: Have you seen my latest research paper? What do you think?

Loario: I have. And I think you’re doing an amazing job—both with your publications and the environmental work. Your group is making a difference. I even recommended you for a promotion at the Foundation. I think you have a great shot!



When the weather isn’t great, Filip works at the Research Institute.



Filip: Is it just me, or is that a new Jungle Gym? I don’t remember it being here before… It’s not even part of the lot!

Alika: Rumor has it the Watcher used a special Mod to place objects outside lot boundaries!

Filip: Amazing!

Maja: Mine!

Girl: No, mine!



Filip: Girls, it’s getting dark. Time to head home.

Maja: She broke the house!

Izi: House broken!

Filip: Alright, alright. Doesn’t matter who broke it, we’ll repair it in no time. See? Grandpa was right, handiness skill is useful!



Suddenly, happy barking echoed nearby.

Filip: And what are you doing here, little one? Are you lost?

Maja: Puppy? Come, puppy, here. My puppy. Daddy, let’s keep the puppy!

Filip: She might belong to someone, Maja. But okay, let’s take her home and check.



Anna: A puppy?

Filip: Looks like a girl. Seems unowned.

Maja: Maja’s puppy, please, please. My puppy.

Anna: Let’s keep her overnight. Your dad and I will check if anyone’s looking for her.



That night, three little beings dreamed sweet dreams together.

Anna: It seems like no one’s looking for the puppy.

Filip: I didn’t find anything either. So…?

Anna: Looks like we have a dog now.



The next day is Kindness Day, but also Maja and Izi’s birthday!

Maja and the puppy seem attached already.

Maja: Come for a story. Puppy Bark Bark. Munch Munch puppy. Puppy Potty Accident. The end.



At noon, the family gathers at the Sulani Cultural Center for Maja and Izi’s birthday party. The weather is partly cloudy (but at least it’s not raining), and the girls are having a blast.

Piotr: Everything’s ready for the wedding. It’s great that Izi could stay for a few days—it gave us plenty of time to get things sorted with Yuki.

Anna: Congrats on your Starlight Accolade award!



Filip: Attention, everyone! It’s time! Maja, Izi, your cake is ready!



Happy Birthday to the cousins!

Maja rolled the Confident trait and got the Slumber Party Animal aspiration.

Izi has the Energetic trait and the Playtime Captain aspiration.



Filip: And of course, now it starts raining. Guess that’s the end of the party.

Piotr: Izi, say your goodbyes—we’re heading back home today.

Izi: That was so much fun! Maybe next time you can visit us in San Myshuno!

Maja: That would be SIMTASTIC!

Izi: Besties Forever?

Maja: Besties Forever.



Anna: I have something for you, Little Star. You can write down anything that comes to your mind.

Klara: And from Grandma—a bracelet-making kit. We have to try out the new pack’s features!

Maja: Did you miss me? I have something for you too—here, a treat. You know what? I’ll call you Marshmallow, because you remind me of one!

Chronicles of Del Sol Valley Izi's parents decided to take a break from the hustle of an ordinary city and went to an extraordinary city, full of celebrities on every corner. San Sequoia was close, so they first came to visit Izi, and then they started the actual vacation in Del Sol Valley. Hotspots were everywhere and full of famous Sims.
