19. SOMETHING STARTS, SOMETHING ENDS

It's Piotr & Yuki’s Wedding Day!

Filip: Ready?

Anna: Just a moment.

Maja: You can’t go to the wedding, you have to guard the house, okay, Marshmallow?



The guests are arriving.

Anna: Simpedia says this place used to be Myshuno Meadow. They did a great job revitalizing the community.

Piotr: It’s starting soon! Do you have the rings?

Izi: Of course, Dad!

Yuki: Alright, let’s go.



And so, the ceremony begins. First, Maja walks down the aisle as the Flower Pal. Then, Izi follows with the rings.

Maja: Bubble Blowing? What a Simtastic tradition! You didn’t do that, Mom!

Piotr: Dear guests, please join us for the cake cutting!



The dinner was a great success—even though everyone ate wherever they wanted. 😉



Then came the First Dance and the real party started!



Not even the rain scared off the guests.

Filip: May I have this dance, dear sister-in-law?

Maja: Why did I have to wear tights, and you didn’t? That’s so unfair…

Piotr: Mom… Oh no! I’m so sorry!

Klara: I think I overdid it with the Simopolitan…



Yuki: Seriously? No one wants to catch the bouquet?!

Luna: I do!

Yuki: Then go for it!

Luna: Got it!

(For context, Luna is dating Filip Huntington III, Piotr’s best friend from school.)



The party lasted until the sun came up! Only Izi nodded off at the very end. 😉



The next day…

Filip received a very sad phone call.

Filip: Bella? What? Oh no… But how?

Anna: What happened?

Filip: It’s Kazik… he passed away last night… right after the wedding. I just got the notification…

Anna: Oh no, I’m so sorry, love. And on your birthday too…



Filip: It feels like a curse. My mom’s best friend also passed away at such a young age…

Anna: Do you think the Watcher is doing this on purpose?

Filip: I don’t think so. It’s probably just an unfortunate event.

Anna: Do you want to reschedule the birthday?

Filip: Eh… no… but let’s keep it lowkey, just few friends.



Meanwhile, Maja—unaware of the sad news—was having a wonderful time: she finished a Friendship Bracelet and played with Marshmallow.

Maja: Come on, Marshmallow, I just know you’re going to be a Simstagram Star!

Oliana: We heard about your friend… If there’s anything we can do…

Filip: Thank you so much.

Maja: Can I go build a sandcastle?

Anna: Dinner is almost ready, and after that, we’ll have dad’s birthday cake.

Oliana: Is this your little one? She’s grown up so much!



Anna: Maja starts school tomorrow.

Oliana: Oh wow, are you nervous?

Maja: Not at all! I can’t wait!

Anna: Grilled fish is ready!

Maja: Now can I go play?

Anna: I told you—dad’s cake first!

Filip: My dear ones, I’d like to take a moment to raise a toast.

To my friend, Kazimierz, dear Kazik. He was the one who convinced me to start the Swim Team back in high school. Because of him, I’m here today. Let’s say goodbye with a moment of silence and a toast of kava.

Chronicles of Del Sol Valley Izi's parents decided to take a break from the hustle of an ordinary city and went to an extraordinary city, full of celebrities on every corner.
