18. WINTER FESTIVAL

The first day of school for Filip has arrived.



Newcrest School welcomes you!

Filip: Good morning, I'm Filip Drozd.

Principal: Where does this enthusiasm come from, young Sim? Come, I'll show you around the school.

...And here’s your classroom. Have a great day learning!

Ms. Jang: Today’s lesson is an introduction to help you explore various fields and find where you excel. And remember, you wouldn’t be here without Zerbu and his active school mod!



Filip: Hi, I’m Filip.

Miłosz: Hey, I’m Miłosz. Miłosz Bheeda.

Filip: The Bheedas from San Myshuno? You’re from India, right? What’s it like there? Have you ever seen a real elephant?

Miłosz: There’s no India world in Sims 4... There aren’t any real elephants either.

Filip: Don’t worry! Maybe someday they’ll add a pack like that.

Miłosz: EA? More likely the modders!! Haha!

Filip: Haha! True! Oh, have you heard the joke about elephants?



Akito: How was school?

Filip: Awesome! I made a friend, Miłosz! And I think my favorite subject will be health and fitness. But Mom, I thought you were the school principal?

Klara: I’m the principal at an inactive school, and you’re attending an active one, sweetie.

Filip: I need to join Scouts, too.

...And done!

Klara: The first Scout in the family! Maybe you’ll start a new tradition!



Akito tried his luck with the fabricator again. Unfortunately, the machine rebelled this time as well. Akito seems to be losing patience with this method of furniture production.



Filip went to his first Scout meeting. Some kid in his troop bragged a lot about their collection of badges. Filip, having just joined, didn’t have any yet, so he preferred to just watch the rest of the group.



As soon as he got home, Filip checked his badge board to see what he could earn a badge for. He’ll show everyone what a great Scout he is. By the end of the day, he already earned his first badge.



Klara: Piotr, why don’t you want to play with your brother?

Piotr: Filip big, Filip bad. Stupid, stupid, ugly, big Filip!

Akito: Whoa, whoa, is that how you talk about your brother? That’s very rude. Apologize to Filip.

Piotr: No!

Klara: Piotr! Apologize to your brother right now, or no more bedtime stories.



Piotr: Sowwy... Filip not bad...

Filip: Oh, it’s okay, little brother. Come here.



The day of decorating the Christmas tree and the house arrived.

Filip: How did this tree even fit here? It must be a 4-tile tree, and we only have 2 tiles.

Klara: Look at that, he just started school, and he’s already so smart.

Akito: Well, you know, Christmas is a magical time. If the Watcher can use cheats, trees can stick through walls.

And the house is ready for the holidays!



The last day of school before the break, the kids were making holiday decorations.

Diya: Not bad, you’re already on your second decoration! I haven’t even finished my first.

Filip: Actually, these are my third decorations. I’m also earning Scout badges.

Miłosz: Why do they still make us learn? They should just let us play in the snow.

Filip is already thinking about opening presents tomorrow.



Filip: Look, Ms. Jang actually let us play! Where did all this snow come from anyway? We don’t have any yet at home.

Miłosz: Each world has different weather. Didn’t you know that? Hey, how about a snowball fight?

Filip: Great idea! Take this!

Agnieszka: Really?! Now my hair is wet! Do you think it’s easy to style a hairdo like THIS?!

Filip: Oops... I thought you just chose it in Create-a-Sim...



Filip: Mooom... Why do I have to do homework now?? There’s sooo many days before school starts again. Maybe I won’t even go back to elementary school before my birthday and will jump straight to high school...?

Klara: Exactly! You never know what the Watcher will come up with, so it’s better to be prepared for anything and do your homework now.

Filip: ...



The long-awaited day has arrived, the day of the Winterfest. Everyone is already up and having breakfast.

Filip: Dad, when I grow up, I want to be a ninja. What should I start doing to make that happen?

Akito: As a Vampire Slayer, I can give you some good advice! Start by practicing stealth—it’s always useful. I can help you with that if you’d like.

Filip: Thanks, Dad!



Klara: Boys, these will be your first holidays! Actually, mine too! Do you think you’ve been good enough to get a gift from Father Winter?

Piotr: Piot want biiiiig present.

Filip: And will Father Winter really come to visit us?

Klara: Of course! As long as there aren’t any new bugs in the game, that is. Now go play outside for a bit, and then we’ll head to the Soup Kitchen to help out.



In the evening, the holiday dinner begins. Guests are gathering, and Father Winter has arrived! Zoe, however, is skeptical of his authenticity.

Zoe: That beard can’t be real; I’ll check.

Klara: Nicolas will be here soon, and we can start.

Akito: You invited my friend Nicolas and Zoe? Are you up to something?



Filip caught Father Winter and asked for a gift. He got a fossil with a prehistoric bird print and was genuinely happy!



Father Winter: Ho ho ho, I have something for you too, young man. Check the pile of presents. And of course, there’s something for the rest of the family too!



Klara: Nicolas, I’m glad you came. Have you met my friend Zoe?

Nicolas: Zoe seems like a great girl; I’ll introduce myself when I see her.

Moments later...

Nicolas: Thanks for introducing us. Zoe and I are now a couple.

Klara (to herself): Well, that was quick. I guess I can call myself the Love Doctor...



Finally, the festive dinner began. Father Winter joined in too. ;)

Akito: Everyone, to the table!

Zoe: Everything looks delicious, Klara, you’ve outdone yourself!

Akito: Piotr, how about using a fork?

Piotr: No!

Zoe: This Nicolas is great! I didn’t know Akito had such a cool friend!

Klara: I thought you two would hit it off.

And at the end, everyone sang carols. :)



Those two really hit it off! And I can’t believe how lovestruck they both look every time they talk! :D

Chronicles of Del Sol Valley Izi's parents decided to take a break from the hustle of an ordinary city and went to an extraordinary city, full of celebrities on every corner.
