12. THREE PLAGUES

The next day Maja was in great humor and discovered she had lost her single lifestyle. This didn't happen with previous boyfriend... Jace made a nice breakfast.

Marshmallow: [Yes, yse, try hard, man, I've got my eye on you.]




Maja: OMW, I got a text from Enue, she found a ring in Izi's things! Izi is going to propose! Yes, Enue, say "Yes"! How exciting!




Although it's hard to say goodbye, Maja finally returned to her flat to complete university assignments. Later, of course, Jace called.

Jace: Do you want to go to the flea market with me?

Maja: You know I do, but we've just seen each other! And I really need to finish these tasks!




It's the last semester. Fortunately, Maja has classes only on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and she works other days. And it was not the Watcher's magic.




At work, sometimes things go better, sometimes worse. Sometimes Maja gains followers, and other times she angers sponsors with her Simstagram photo. Oops.




Of course, she sees Jace every day. These two have such a great connection, all the time talking, joking, flirting autonomously 🥰




However, life cannot stay perfect forever. One day Maja woke up and found a cursed book in the house. Has it always been there somewhere, just hidden? Maybe under the bed? Anyway, Maja decided to destroy the book and... she got cursed... What will happen now?



The curse soon revealed itself. The flat became dirty, full of dust and vomits from Marshmallow, who was probably sick. Even the cleaning lady wasn't happy when she started the work... 




But the next day it was even worse! The flat has been taken over by fungus!!!  Maja got rid of the mold, hoping that would be the end. But the misfortunes continued, this time with leaking water. Is it still a curse? The buff was long gone, but who knows. Good thing she at least passed all exams with great notes, one less thing to worry about.




This time, Maja called the owner of the property, who quickly dealt with all the leaking plumbing.

Maja: But seriously, there's something wrong with this apartment. I think I'm going crazy, I'm starting to be afraid of living there. 




Maja: It's like the plagues of Egypt! What if something worse happens next time? I'll sit on the Murphy's bed and it'll fold with me?

Jace: I don't think it works that way... But you know, there's a perfect solution. You could move in with me, for example.

Maja: You want me to live with you?

Jace: I think it's about time.




Maja: It'll be nice to fall asleep next to you every day.

Jace: And wake up, eat breakfast, lunch, dinner together every day...

Maja: Dinner! My grandparents are having a Harvestfest at their place this year. I'd like to introduce you to everyone. Do you think we're ready?

Jace:  I could even walk into fire with you. I guess meeting your family won't be that scary, even if they don't like my family.




Finally Maja's and Enue's graduation. Izi couldn't get her diploma (because she's not studying anymore), but she supported her girlfriend and cousin on this important day.




Maja: Have you seen it? Maybe not with honors, but still distinguished!

Jace: I'm so proud of you, honey.. 

Maja: Let's go home.




One last tradition before going home! But first, a call from granny Klara.

Klara: Our congratulations on your graduation, Maja! A wonderful achievement. Hope to see you tomorrow?

Maja: Yes, granny. And you know, I'll bring someone important. And Izi too. So prepare 2 additional plates.

Chronicles of Del Sol Valley Izi's parents decided to take a break from the hustle of an ordinary city and went to an extraordinary city, full of celebrities on every corner.
