13. MEET MY PARENTS

Harvestfest, like every year actually, is taking place again in Windenburg.

Klara: Remember that Maja and Izi invited their partners, we have to put 2 more plates.

Akito: 14 Sims. I'm getting too old for this.




Akito: You know this new guy?

Filip: No. I only know she broke up with Tomi.

Bea: And that's my tail.

Yuki: Wow! Maybe I'll make a computer game about mermaids?

Piotr: Honey, stop thinking about work.

Klara: And who says that? You're constantly practicing your jokes on us!




Finally, Maja and Izi arrived, together with Jace and Enue.

Yuki: What have you done with your beautiful long hair?!

Izi: Oh, mom! They will grow back. Meet Enue, my fiancée. You haven't had a chance to meet her before, when she visited me in San Myshuno.




Yuki: I heard you graduated from Communication with honors, congratulations!

For some reason Enue didn't make a good impression on Yuki, but they have a good compatibility!

Piotr made some joke to break the ice. These two immediately got good compatibility and good impression too.

Filip: And you, Maja, will you introduce us to your friend?




Maja: Mom, dad, this is Jace.

Jace: Nice to meet you, I'm Jace Laurent.

Anna: Laurent?

Maja: Mom...

Filip: From these Laurents, from Tartosa?

Jace: Yes, Hector Laurent is my dad.

(Yeah, Filip thinks Jace is unreliable and Jace thinks Filip is annoying😅)




Maja: Dad, calm down.

Filip: I'm not saying anything.

Klara: Nice to meet you, young man. 

Anna: I remember you! You wore glasses as a child, right?

Jace: Yes, ma'am.

Anna: Oh, stop those. Call me Anna.

(Klara also thinks Jace is annoying 🤷‍♀️But Anna likes him😌)




Akito: So what do you do?

Jace: I am a freelancer, photographer and graphic designer. Currently more graphic designer.

Anna: Oh, artist! Wonderful! I'd love to see your works.

Adrian: And then you'll criticize them ruthlessly! My sister has a sharp pen, so be careful!




Jace: I wanted to apologize for my dad and his plans for Sulani.

Filip: Well, in the end everything ended well, there's nothing more to talk about.

Jace: I read your columns, quite critical indeed.

Anna: True art is not afraid of criticism.

Akito: And what about you, Candy? Any changes?

Candy: None. Neighborhood stories seem to spare me.

(I left them to run this chaos on their own for some time. It was nice to see autonomous interactions, and also to see that Jace and Anna really get along :)

Candy still doesn't know what she is doing in this family reunions, but I don't want to leave her out.)




Maja: We'll probably get going, we have a long way to San Sequoia.

Klara: I hope you'll visit us more often. And that next time I'll see a ring on that finger!

Jace: Well, I'll do my best.

Klara: And you, have you already thought about wedding details?




Anna: Have a safe journey. And take care of her.

Jace: I will.

Maja: So?

Jace: Your mom hugged me... I guess that means she likes me!




Maja: Of course she likes you! Everyone liked you.

Jace: I'm not so sure about that... But the most important is that you like me.

Maja: I'll show you at home how much I do.

Jace: I can't wait.

*That is true, Jace has a good or great compatiblity with entire family🙂




Akito: We survived.

Klara: 14 Sims, and that's only 3 generations. What will happen with the 4th or 5th?

Akito: Well, I won't be part of it anymore.

Klara: Probably I won't be either. But it'd be nice to still get to know Izi's and Maja's children. We'll see... I love you.

Akito: Love you too.

Chronicles of Del Sol Valley Izi's parents decided to take a break from the hustle of an ordinary city and went to an extraordinary city, full of celebrities on every corner. San Sequoia was close, so they first came to visit Izi, and then they started the actual vacation in Del Sol Valley. Hotspots were everywhere and full of famous Sims.
