Next day in the morning Akito had an idea. As a Sim with Artisan trait, he thought he should still do something during his last days. Before it was not possible, but now... So he bought a Gemology Table and started the work. Soon after first creations were ready.

He found the gemology skill quite easy, so quickly he started to produce jewelry of great quality. Some of these he gifted to his lovely wife, who, after all, deserved all the gemstones of the Sim world. He also showed her the wonderful crystal tree he had grown.

They spent the winter days strolling together in the neighborhood, while the Watcher was experimenting with Reshade.

Together they felt still young and forever in love, enjoying every moment they still had.

However, there were also more mundane topics to deal with.

Klara: Are you sure you want to do this now?

Akito: Someday we have to anyway. We must ensure financial security for future generations. Plus, I had to test how this in-game vault option works.

Thanks to the crystal tree, they finished the collection. All the crystals went to a museum. As for the jewelry, Akito sold almost all to the local wedding boutique. But he kept a few that will have a bigger purpose and will become forever a part of his heritage in this legacy.

Chronicles of San Sequoia

In San Sequoia it's more like early autumn than winter. Izi records new songs for New Wave. She also changed the style, as suggested by her agent. New outfits fit her really well! Enue started a new job as an article writer and she also decided to buy some new clothes.

In the evenings, Izi plays at Manzanita club. She's not yet very famous, just 1 star, so she accepts any job offer she gets, to become visible. That necklace will sure help! Enue is of course supporting her fiancée, but also having a lot of fun with new VFX effects.

Izi finally meets Skye with whom she signed a contract in New Wave. But from the very beginning, something about Skye seems odd. A glance in the mirror and Izi knows she's right. Skye is a vampire! She needs to stay calm and find out what it's all about.

Trying to hide her anxiety, Izi puts all her efforts into the recording. She'll investigate it later.

Skye: That was great! You're fantastic. Listen, I've got a cool deal. I'll set you up with Orange Bailey-Moon tomorrow to record a new song together. Just don't let me down!

Next day, Izi met Orange, who didn't make a good impression on her, but after all he's a 3-star celebrity. This cooperation will definitely help her stand out. She just had to cool down Orange's flirtatious tendencies. The recording went smoothly, despite the paparazzi.

Enue: Why I didn't know you knew Orange Bailey-Moon?

Izi: I've just met him, and he's a terrible snob, why you ask?

Enue: Because it's O-B-M?! HELLO! I'm a huge fan! You have to introduce us. Maybe I'll do an interview with him? What do you think?

And here, something about the relentless allure of grilled cheese. Sounds suspicious. Maybe this is how vampires describe Sims, they call us a grilled cheese...? Bla bla, something about the teacher, maybe she ate him? Bla bla, no, she just likes the grilled cheese... How disappointing.

Mailbox! Finally. Some correspondence with the Vatore siblings. I think they took over the Original's heritage, after dad and grandpa defeated him.

Izi was so focused, she didn't notice the figure approaching the house...

Vampire: What are you doing? HEY! I KNOW YOU!

Izi: Oops!
