26. CHAMPS LES SIMS

Parents arrived to pick up Maja from Yuki and Piotr's house.

Anna: You've grown up so much! Are you still my little girl?

Filip: Mom got promoted to Culture Connoisseur, so we're heading to Champs Les Sims for vacation. She has to review and describe a few places for work, and we can explore while we're there.




Izi: Our sleepovers were simtastic. Take care, cousin. See ya!

Maja: You too! See ya!




The loading screen didn’t take long, and without delay, they teleported to Champs Les Sims.

Anna: This place is so chic! And it's so close to the Simfel Tower and the Plumbra Museum!

Maja: I don’t get it; we could’ve stayed in San Myshuno since that’s where the Critic career is based.

Filip: Shhh, don’t ruin Mom’s fun. Remember, she has the Art Lover trait?




Their first stop was the D'OrSim Museum.

Maja: Looks like something anyone with a slightly higher skill level could paint...




Little Bea fell asleep in the carrier. And she wasn’t the only one.

Anna: This is the last piece, I promise! Then we’ll head back to the hotel.




Maja: Much better! 

Filip: These new swimsuits are really flattering.




Dinner at the restaurant wasn’t without a bit of drama, although the Watcher didn’t quite catch what it was about.




On the way back, they had a mini photo shoot under the Simfel Tower.




The next day, they started sightseeing at the Notre Sim Cathedral. Filip tried sneaking away to the Moulin Rouge, but Anna caught him. Meanwhile, Maja and Marshmallow were blowing up Simstagram in Champs Les Sims.




Maja: Mom, can we do something fun for me now?

Anna: Well, there isn’t much for girls your age to do in Champs Les Sims. But after lunch, we can go to a shop—I think you’ll like it.

(Bea seemed happy too; she finally found something she liked since she hadn’t enjoyed any of the meals before.)




Maja: Am I seeing this right? CC by Onyx and PowLuna?!!

Anna: I had a feeling you’d like it. Pick whatever you want.

Maja: SIMTASTIC!




They spent the last day of their vacation visiting the Academy of Arts.

Maja: Mom, did you study Art History here?

Anna: No, this prestigious branch opened recently. Back in my day, I could only choose the university in Britechester.




Anna: Wow, you can definitely get a few inspiration moodlets here.

Maja: I like it here! Too bad there’s no ballet in the game—I think it would be perfect for me.

Filip: Who knows? Maybe the Watcher will find a mod for that.




Lastly, they visited the Plumbra Museum and took their final photos downtown.




Filip: I hope we’re not intruding? We have a double birthday for our daughters, you see... But don’t worry, it’ll just be the four of us. We’re not big on legacy traditions, so we’re not inviting the whole family for celebrations.

Happy Birthday! Long live little Bea, our wild toddler—as her newly randomized trait says.




Maja also blows out the candles. Anna suddenly felt sad, watching both her girls slowly grow up.

Maja rolled the Childish trait, plus she has bonus traits: High Self-Esteem, Practiced Host (for completing her childhood aspiration), and Top-Notch Toddler (from infancy).




Maja: What’s wrong, Mom? You suddenly look so sad.

Anna: Oh, it’s just... you and Bea... WHAT IS THAT IN YOUR NOSE?!

Maja: Oh, that. It’s the latest trend—they wrote about it in SimStyle. Don’t worry, this piercing is removable.

Anna: ...




And there’s Maja taking her first steps into teenage life, while Bea is taking her first steps ever.

Chronicles of Del Sol Valley Izi's parents decided to take a break from the hustle of an ordinary city and went to an extraordinary city, full of celebrities on every corner. San Sequoia was close, so they first came to visit Izi, and then they started the actual vacation in Del Sol Valley. Hotspots were everywhere and full of famous Sims.
