59. ECHOES OF TIME (5)

Enue found herself pretty quickly at campus—after all, she was a student once before. At the start-of-term ceremony, she high-fived the university mascot and even jumped straight into a game of juice pong. Unfortunately, it turned she's not juice resistant anymore...

That very same day, she got her first party invite (one of many to come). She quickly remembered how to party like a pro. Sadly, the way back was less glamorous—a wild thunderstorm kicked in, and all Enue had was a bike.

Science career earned her the Distinguished Award and credit for half her classes! Still, she had to study a lot. And run. So much running to get to every class on time. Luckily, her department had The Cerebralizing Brain Enhancing Machine, which made leveling up skills super fast.

The comic book store was a total hotspot. Not just for reading comics, but also for chilling out and learning Advanced Technology via a futuristic computer she received from the future. After classes, it was time for a little tattoo and a visit to the stylist (we’re not going back to that one again 😅).

Evenings on campus were full of fun—bowling, billiards… One night, Enue had a close encounter with a werewolf girl. She got a bit spooked, but thankfully nothing happened. (No "Cursed Bite" moodlet this time.)

At university, Enue threw herself into skill-building—especially anything that could help her repair the Time Portal. She worked hard and climbed the social ranks of the Nerds group, reaching level 8! She experimented, gave presentations, and actively participated in lectures.

Enue: Professor… What do you think is needed to build The Ultimate Invention?

Professor: I've never heard of such a thing.

Disappointed, Enue zoned out for the rest of the lecture and even caught a quick nap.

The more she studied, the more she realized: radiation = not great. One evening, she organized a protest Against Radiation. The turnout was decent and everyone was fired up… until a very grumpy cop broke it up. (At first, I thought he was just another protestor!)

At dawn, she returned to the quad to broadcast her message via the campus radio station and report on last night's protest. Fight the power!

Little victories must be celebrated. And what better way than club dancing and a bit of bar-top dancing? Followed, of course, by karaoke. Amazing what a few cups of juice will do. Not long ago (in her Sims 4 uni days), Enue swore she’d never set foot on that stage. Look at her now!

At the end of one party, she just had to try the "Detonate" interaction. So, what to detonate? A chair, maybe? Yeah, that didn’t go well. Plus, she got a warning for conducting public experiments. Next time: fine incoming 😅

To awaken her inner artist, Enue dabbled in the arts—sculpting first, then musical instruments. The double bass didn’t click. And a dorm mate politely asked her to never touch the drums again. But guitar? She was surprisingly decent!

Still, Science Majors needed most of her focus. Thanks to hard work (and the Brain Machine boosts), Enue maxed out Logic, Handiness, and Inventing. But actual inventions didn't go that well for her. She used up a ton of scrap and only made a toy so far.

The day before finals, she and two fellow students headed to the group science park for a science experiment. But they completed only the “Interface with the Green Mind Melder Module”, so didn’t trigger a meteor shower event. Still, all of them got a nice "Hive Mind" moodlet for skill gain boost.

Finals passed! All that remained was waiting for her degree. So party time! Outside the dance club, a Sim approached her for an interview—probably about her exams and recent protest.

Party after party. Back at her own dorm, a full-blown epic party was raging. Enue caught the eye of a Jock legend. A little too much juice and... well, let’s just say she may have regretted some of her choices. (Izi is still waiting back home after all). Her new friend turned out to be a vampire. At the next masquerade bonfire, she introduced Enue to a whole occult crowd: fairies, werewolves, witches...

Graduation Day! Enue earned the highest distinction, she can be proud of herself.

One night, Enue had a strange dream. It started in Bridgeport, playing in a band. They weren’t bad. A paparazzi snapped some pics. Enue earned 1 Celebrity Star!

But one star wasn’t enough to get into an exclusive party. She had to bribe the bouncer. Inside, she met a 3-star celeb who first ignored her… but soon they were snapping selfies together.

The dream shifted—she was miming on a city street.

Then suddenly juggling fire like a real acrobat!

Out of nowhere, a zombie attacked—and Enue turned into one! All she could say was “Arrrr…”

Then the dream shifted again—back to acrobatics, but she wasn’t a zombie anymore.

From there, she somehow climbed the magician career ladder, wowing crowds with illusions. Not every trick was successful. The sword box one didn't go well at the second attempt...

Her best trick was a levitation. Floating mid-air was the highlight of the dream...

...until it turned into a nightmare! She got trapped in the Box of Danger, slowly drowning!

Luckily, it was just a dream! And in reality, her magic was wand-based. After her vampire friend introduced her to the occult community, Enue decided to stick around campus longer and re-explore magic, like she did in TS1 and TS2.

But in this world, becoming a witch wasn’t easy. Since she couldn’t buy the transformation elixir (thanks, bug), she had to craft it herself. Hours of alchemy later, she drank the potion and became a full-fledged witch!

She brewed elixirs for stressed-out students. At first, all she could do was play with magic. But eventually she unlocked useful spells like Conversion Ritual and Fire Blast (less useful).

She later learned Good Luck Charm and Magical Upgrade. Conjuring apples was handy—though once in a while they were poisoned. What would’ve happened if she ate one...?

No poisoned apples for Enue this time, but she did try a Jelly Bean. Lucky her—it was minty and safe. Could be much worse.

Her most popular potions were Skill Booster and Vial of Bliss. Other Sims loved her potions. She was basically a campus legend.

...Until one day, Enue used a wrong potion and zombified a friend by mistake.
Enue: “It’s fine! You’ll get better in two days. I think.”
Friend: “Arrr…”

Another degree—Science this time! Top honors again, despite barely showing up to lectures.

That evening, she was heading to party—but a zombie showed up. But not her friend-turned-zombie—a completely new one. This was starting to look bad.

Not knowing what else to do, Enue retreated into the magical world. She’d heard rumors of a portal hidden inside a wardrobe. With the right spell, she opened the passage…

On the other side was a whole new world: The Fairy Arboretum of Moonlight Falls.

*A wardrobe was technically just a rabbit hole, but let’s go with it.

After exploring the Fairy Gardens, Enue ventured into the Vault of Antiquity. She discovered a secret passage and entered a strange chamber… suddenly overcome with intense sadness.

Turns out it was a mood lamp. So hey, The Sims 3 had emotions too! She checked the lunar horoscope and moon phases too.

Suddenly, someone spoke—it was the Magic Mirror! Not the chatty type, but it gifted her a fabulous outfit themed for this new realm.

At the Gypsy Wagon, she got her fortune told. But her future was totally cloudy. (Even after spending tons of simoleons...) So she blew off steam with a quick broomstick flight.

Back at her new temporary home, Enue discovered the Philosopher’s Stone! She even turned a pumpkin into gold! (Good thing she didn’t turn herself into a statue…)

Emit: There you are! Do you realize what you’ve done?! I told you to be careful in this world—your actions have consequences!
Enue: What now?
Emit: You really have to ask? WHO was messing with alchemy?! Thanks to you, the future is now crawling with zombies!

To be continued...
