60. ECHOES OF TIME (6)

Enue knew Fairy Dust could cure Sims of Zombification, so she searched for a way to become a Fairy. Now living in Moonlight Falls, she could purchase elixirs from the store, so she tried them one after another, hoping to find the Fairy Blessing. But so far, she didn't come across the right one yet.

So far, she'd already been a Tragic Clown, a Mummy, a Genie, and a Simbot. Then she became a Werewolf. One elixir even gave her the Midas Touch—she could turn others into gold. It might have worked on zombies, but probably not the best route. The Cloning Elixir was an outright failure.

Eventually, she found the right elixir after completing a Fairy opportunity at the Arboretum! And there she was—Fairy Enue, with tiny bumblebee wings. 😊

Here’s her miniature form and her Fairy House, where she immediately threw a party just for fairies.

Enue liked fairy mischief and tricking other Sims. But the other Sims weren’t exactly thrilled about it.

It turned out that as a Fairy, Enue couldn’t produce Fairy Dust for herself... In the end, she had to ask other fairies for dust anyway. Only then could she take action against the zombies. But the plan worked, and soon the world was cleansed—the apocalypse averted.

While searching in her own way for a method to return home, Enue found a device that let her travel from The Sims 2 to The Sims 3! She upgraded the machine and managed to reach another dimension!

From there, she brought back a mysterious lamp. When she rubbed it, a real Genie came out. Enue quickly wished for World Peace. The zombie apocalypse may have been stopped, but who knew what other disasters might come? Better safe than sorry, so one must eliminate the threats.

In exchange for the wish, Enue promised to free the Genie. First, she had to freeze the lamp, then burn it, and finally place it in the mausoleum. It ended with quite a shock for Enue, but at least the Genie was finally free.

As a thank-you, he cleaned her house and started preparing delicious meals.

Later that same day, Emit showed up.

Emit: I can't leave you alone for even a moment. This time you're coming with me—to the Future. I don't know what you've done again, but now we've got Utopia. You'll see for yourself…

Welcome to Oasis Landing.

Specifically, its Utopian version. A place where Sims overflow with joy and hug themselves without restraint. Plumbots serve their creators, eagerly awaiting the day they too can fully enjoy fun and social interactions.

Emit: You can sleep here. I also left you a jetpack and hoverboard—they’re better than cars.

Enue: Why are you walking so weird?

Emit: The Utopy is getting to me. Someone sprayed me with Rainbow Dew. Are you seeing things in pink too? I need to go hug someone! See yaaa!

That same evening, Enue began learning Bot Building and created her very own Plumbot. She named him Scrappy.

The next day, Enue decided to explore the area. She was especially intrigued by the beautiful, large flowers that produced colored dew. She could use it to blow giant bubbles.

Not sure when, Enue got a Rainbow Dew. Although slightly concerned by Emit’s behavior, she had to try it for herself. Soon after, she too walked with a spring in her step and a beaming smile. Inspired by newfound optimism, she tried Pink Dew and the jetpack too.

Sims here were incredibly friendly and cheerful. Everyone constantly wanted to hug! And this Whimsy Waltz! The dancing was contagious…

Enue became more confident with futuristic technology and entertainment. Even the hoverboard didn’t scare her anymore.

Soon, she upgraded Scrappy, installing new trait chips, including—at last—Sentience. Scrappy could now feel joy from play and companionship. After a productive day, Enue could dream of a home in The Sims 4.

Emit gave Enue various tasks. One of them sent her into The Wasteland to search for rare nanites. One time she discovered what seemed like remains of a beach from Isla Paradiso. What had happened here? The local didn’t know—or wouldn’t say, though Enue tried to get it out of her.

The greatest discovery in the Wasteland was the end of rainbow. Enue thought it was a real, but maybe it was just a hologram created for Utopia. Although the Wasteland was, well, wasteland, there was still some life left. But it was hard to look at the remnants of “the old civilization.”

During one mission, Enue acquired a key to a crashed spaceship at the crash site. She didn’t find answers about what kind of catastrophe had struck the Sims in the future—but she did find creatures resembling the Voidcritters from The Sims 4. She took one with her.

She kept working on her inventing skill, aiming to create the Life Core. But she was still missing some components: aside from scrap, which she had plenty of, she needed Palladium, Life Fruit, and a Pink Diamond—all of which were much harder to find. She couldn't locate them anywhere.

Occasionally, meteor showers would shake the city, causing destruction.

Emit: The time continuum seems to be falling apart. That’s why there are more and more meteors. We need the Life Core as soon as possible. I’m sending you back to the past. Go to these locations—there’s the highest chance of finding the missing elements there.”
