20. HELLO SCHOOL

Maja’s First Day of School!

Filip: This is a big day for you! How are you feeling?

Maja: Simtastic! I can’t wait for lessons and to meet other kids!

Anna: You know, I met your dad in school.

Maja: Ewww! Moooom!



Maja: Marshmallow, I’ll see you after school. Guard the house!

Filip: My little girl is off to school—we need to capture this moment!

Maja: Dad, come on, hurry up, or I’ll miss the active school notification!

Filip: My dear, I understand the excitement and trait changes, but you’re getting a little too bold lately.

Maja: Good morning, Mr. Principal Ando! Maja Drozd, reporting for my first day!

Principal Ando: Welcome, Maja. Come on, I’ll show you to your class.

…And here’s Ms. Paewai.

Ms. Paewai: Good morning, Maja. I hope you’ll settle in quickly!

Maja: That’s my specialty!



The lesson went by pretty quickly, and soon it was recess time!

Girl: I wonder what’s for lunch today?

Maja: Hi! I’m Maja—Maja Drozd.

Girl: Drozd? Like The Drozd Legacy? I’m Ananya, and this is Marco Leonardo—because his parents are weird and gave him two names.



Maja: I just got a notification—my tooth is loose! Any ideas on what to do?

Ananya: I’d pull it out. Then you can put it under your pillow and get something cool from the Tooth Fairy!

Maja: Seriously? That’s a thing in The Sims 4 now?!



At home, Maja got to work on this tooth—and it went surprisingly smoothly! 😁



Anna: So, how was school?

Maja: SIMTASTIC! Ms. Paewai is super nice! Today, she explained Color Theory, though Mom, I bet you would’ve done it better! And I met Ananya and Marco Leonardo! And Ananya told me to pull out my tooth and put it under my pillow and…

Anna: Whoa, that’s a lot of info! And you pulled your tooth Out? By yourself? Really?!

Maja: Really, Mom! And now the Tooth Fairy will bring me something cool!



Maja: Dear Diary, today was such a good day! I really like school and all my new friends. And tomorrow will be even better!



Anna: I wasn’t sure before, because I didn’t get any moodlets about feeling bloated or nauseous, but… I just got the first trimester moodlet!

Filip: Wait, so… does that mean you’re…?

Anna: Yes!

Filip: That’s AMAZING! I need to share the big news—everyone will be so excited!



The next day…

Early in the morning, Anna was writing an article about the latest Sulani Festival.

Filip: You know, I’ve been thinking—we should renovate upstairs to make separate rooms for the kids. I’ll take the day off to do it.

Anna: Yes! Great idea! And we still have Maja’s old furniture—we can just recolor it!



Maja: I’m heading out, Mom. Bye!

Anna: Hold on—what about breakfast?

Maja: I’ll eat at school?

Anna: At least take the packed lunch I made for you!



Maja: Enue! You aged up too?!

Enue: Yes! It’s Simtastic to see you!

Maja: Where’s Kaliya?

Enue: She didn’t come to school today, no idea why. But after class, I’ll introduce you to some other girls!

(Enue and Kaliya are sisters—daughters of Alika Kahananui. They used to play with Maja and Izi at the playground and were at their birthdays!)



Today’s lessons were a bit boring. The girls couldn’t wait for break!

Imani: I’m Imani, and that’s my sister, Tilia. Ananya will be here soon—you already know her! I heard your uncle is a comedian. Do you know any funny sketches?

Maja: Hmm… maybe this one:

"Two Sims are talking. One says, ‘Ba harmy putar?’ And the other goes, ‘GLARCH!!!’"

Enue: Hahaha!

Imani: That was great! You’re hilarious!



Enue: Ugh, it’s so boring here today. Nothing ever happens. Honestly, nothing ever happens in Sulani…

Maja: Hey! What if we have a Slumber Party this weekend? I need it for my aspiration task, and it could be super fun!

Enue: YES! A Slumber Party is The Best Idea!

Ananya: It’ll be SIMTASTIC!



Maja: Mom! Mom! Can I have a slumber party this weekend for my friends and… wait… what’s that? Why is your belly so big?

Anna: Oh, sweetie, come here, let me explain. But first—look! Dad made you a new room today, because now that you’re in school, you need a proper desk and everything.

Maja: It’s nice… but my old room was bigger…



Anna: We had to split the upstairs into two rooms because… this is where your new baby sister or brother will live! We’re having a baby! You’re going to be a big sister! Aren’t you excited?

Maja: A sister?! But why? Izi is my sister—why do I need another one? I liked my big room better!



Anna: That didn’t go as planned… not at all.

Filip: Want me to talk to her?

Anna: No, let’s give her time to cool off and get used to the idea. It’s a big change for her too. We’ll talk to her tomorrow.

Chronicles of Del Sol Valley Izi's parents decided to take a break from the hustle of an ordinary city and went to an extraordinary city, full of celebrities on every corner.
