5. THE END OF VACATION (1)

Klara and Akito are continuing their vacation in Sulani. Klara is determined to learn how to swim so she can safely enjoy all the island’s wonders.

Filip managed to complete his aspiration quickly after finding the last seashell! But that was to be expected—he’s loved collecting things since he was a kid.

Klara: We wanted to tell you that we think you’re doing great, and we’re so proud of you.

Akito: At first, we weren’t so sure about this whole move to Sulani and your job as a diver, but now we can see it was a good decision.

Filip: I told you—I just needed to find my own path.

Klara: You were right. And it looks like you and Anna’s generation will be truly fabulous.

Filip: But admit it, the idea of spending future vacations here with your grandkids helped change your mind too.

Klara: Haha, well... maybe just a little.

Klara: I can see something’s bothering you. Let it out.

Filip: Is it that obvious? Ugh… Anna still isn’t sure if she wants to move here. I’m not sure if I want to leave. But being apart is really hard for both of us.

Klara: Those kinds of decisions aren’t easy. Give yourselves time. Anna is a young, ambitious woman. Like you, she has her dreams. She needs to know that wherever you live, she can still fulfill them. Your generation is just beginning; everything will fall into place.

Filip: Thanks, Mom. You always know how to make me feel better.

During their final days of vacation, Klara and Akito made sure to recharge as much as possible.

Both of them reached Level 3 in swimming, so they could comfortably admire the stunning coral reefs and enjoy other water activities.

Filip: Dad, I need a favor. I know you’re on vacation and all, but could you help me out with your awesome Handiness skill and upgrade a few appliances? Everything keeps breaking around here.

Akito: Why didn’t you ask sooner? That’s no problem for me. It’ll only take a minute.

Meanwhile, Klara decided to stock Filip’s fridge with delicious homemade meals the day before leaving.

After his parents left, Filip felt like it had been ages since he last felt close to his beloved one. Maybe it was just paranoia, but Filip couldn’t shake the curiosity about what Anna was doing and who she was seeing behind his back.

Filip: Surprise!

Anna: Filip?! OMW, what are you doing here?

Filip: I thought this time I’d visit you and see what the famous dorm life is really like.

Ania: Well? Is dorm life what you imagined?

Filip: Hmm… hard to say. I haven’t seen your room yet.

Filip: No, wait. I wanted to talk first. You see, I got a "Fear of Being Cheated On" notification. And the thing is… well, you know those notifications don’t just pop up for no reason. Something must have triggered it…

Anna: And you think I caused it because… because I’m seeing someone else?!

Filip: Are you… seeing someone else?

Anna: NO! Filip, come on! Maybe it’s just because we haven’t seen each other in a while. Or maybe it’s a glitch, like that fear of the dark. It’s only you! Besides, come here, let me show you just how much I missed you.
