7. THE FINAL SHOWDOWN

The first moments with the little one. Maja is a glowing child, and her smile lights up the whole room. Anna is so happy as a new mom that she discovered she’s no longer a Gloomy Sim!

Penny: "But she doesn’t look like you at all. Her skin tone is completely different."

Filip: "I think she’s too tiny to tell right now."

Anna: "So, how long did you say you’re staying, Mom?"

The family has almost gathered to celebrate Baby Shower.

Anna: "Come on, little one, meet the rest of the family."

Klara: "She’s so sweet, it makes me want a nooboo again."

Filip: "By the way, Mom, I heard you became a Dean! Congrats!"

That evening, someone else showed up at the Drozd household.

Piotr: "Yumi! Wonderful to see you—come on, let me finally introduce you to my family."

Yumi: "We need to talk."

Piotr: "Why so serious? Did something happen?"

Yumi: "I have so much to tell you..."

Piotr: "You’re kidding, right? You’re joking about vampires and a planned attack?"

Yumi: "Unfortunately not... I’m sorry, Piotr. From the start, I was supposed to infiltrate your family so the attack would be easier."

Piotr: "So everything was fake? You’re just a soulless vampire using me all along? And I’ve been under your influence the whole time? How am I supposed to believe or trust you now?!"

Yumi: "When I got to know you better, I... started to care for you. I didn’t want to use you anymore. That’s why I’m warning you."

Yumi: "Ugh, fine. If you don’t believe me, we’ll do this differently..."

"...When you wake up, you won’t remember me at all. But warn your dad. He’ll know what to do."

Piotr: "Dad, we need to talk right now."

Akito: "So the Original is planning an attack during the full moon on Spooky Night? That’s only a few days away!"

Piotr: "Apparently, that’s when he’s at his strongest. Attacking a Slayer on that night will give him power beyond all other supernatural beings in the game."

Akito: "How do you know this?"

Piotr: "It felt like... a dream. I don’t know, but I know it’s true."

Akito: "We need to prepare. Come on, son, we have a lot to do."

Lady Volpe: "It’s been ages, Slayer. What brings you here?"

Akito: "You know what. I need the final ingredients to craft a weapon that can defeat the Original."

Lady Volpe: "Fine, take it — ash from a white oak, mandrake, and the Death Flower. But there’s only enough for one stake. Make your shot count — straight to the heart."

Klara: "You’ve been working all night?"

Akito: "This is critical. I need everything ready by tonight. We can’t let Spooky Night begin; the Original will become unstoppable."

Klara: "I love you, you know. Please, be careful."

Akito: "I’ll be fine. I always come back to you."

Akito: "Son, I appreciate you wanting to help, but only a Slayer’s power can end this."

Piotr: "Then make me a Slayer. You can do it."

Akito: "Are you sure...? It’s a heavy burden."

Piotr: "Dad, I won’t let you face this alone. I’m a Fearless Sim, after all — might as well put that trait to good use."

Akito: "Alright then. So be it."

Piotr still had to undergo intense training.

Akito: "Now, try repeating that strike."

Piotr: "Like this?"

Akito: "Perfect!"

Piotr: "This place is so gloomy."

Akito: "You have no idea. Here, take this — it’s my protection ring."

Piotr: "What about you, Dad? You can’t go unprotected!"

Akito: "I’ll manage. I’ve lived a good life. If this fight is my last, so be it. But you have your whole life ahead. You must survive."

Vlad: "Well, well, who do we have here? Time hasn’t been kind to you, Slayer. Was last time not enough for you?"

Akito: "You’re mistaken. Time has been my ally. This time, I’m ready."

Vlad: "Hahaha! Still didn’t work! I’m about to taste your plasma, Slayer!"

Piotr: "YOU PLASMA-SUCKER, LEAVE MY DAD ALONE!"

Vlad: "Holy water? That doesn’t affect me."

Akito: "But it weakens you! Now, Piotr — together!"

Piotr: "Is it... finally over?"

Akito: "It is, son. You did amazing. I’m so proud of you. Let’s go home."

Andre: "By the plumbob! This isn’t how it was supposed to go! I’d better scram before they see me!"

Klara: "I hope they’re alright..."

Akito: "We’re back! Safe and well!"

Klara: "Akito Nishimura-Drozd, you have no idea how worried I was."

Akito: "I told you I’d come back to you."

Klara: "Oh, son, now I’ll worry about you too."

Piotr: "I have Dad’s ring. I’ll be fine. Someone has to continue the family tradition."

Klara: "My brave men. I love you both."

Akito: "There’s one last thing I need to do."

Akito: "What you did was brave. My family owes you their lives."

Yumi: "So, you succeeded. That’s good. But how did you know it was me who gave the warning?"

Akito: "Word travels fast. You’re not exactly popular among vampires right now. Here, I have something for you. I hope you accept my gift and start a new life in a fresh save game. Good luck."

Yumi accepted the gift and immediately drank the cure for vampirism. She now has her whole life ahead of her as a regular teen.

Meanwhile, at Britechester University:

Piotr: "Oh, hi! You study here too?"

Yuki: "Yeah! I got into computer science. Turns out performing arts wasn’t for me."

Piotr: "You look great. Want to grab a coffee?"
