18. SAY "YES"

After the recent sad events, it was difficult to return to normality. But life goes on, and the ring in Jace's pocket asks for attention. So Jace is thinking more and more about asking Maja to marry him. Or rather, how to propose?

Strolls around picturesque San Sequoia might be a good time. Maybe an arboretum is a good place? Or the docks? However, the weather is not perfect, it could be warmer, without clouds, or at least the stars could be seen. After all, Maja deserves the best proposal.

When he took her for a romantic dinner, Maja was sure this is it. But, the meal was eaten and the only question asked was if they'd go to karaoke. Meanwhile Jace thought, karaoke was perfect for proposal. Unfortunately he panicked and sang the normal lyrics. The moment was gone.

And so the ring from grandpa Akito is still waiting for the right moment, while both Maja and Jace are worried, each of them for a slightly different reason, although almost the same: "if/when Jace will finally propose."

Jace: Like everything! But it'd fit better if you took it off.

Maja: We're here! How can we help? 

Mrs. Kahananui: You can help end this drama, because it's not for my nerves. 

Kaliya: I'm telling you, the romance bar is red, negative sentiments, a real disaster! 

Enue: And there will be no wedding! This is my last word!

The Watcher didn't see it coming. Everything was ready for the wedding. The lot was playtested. All guests got makeover. All roles assigned. Only brides were missing. But when I launched their household, their romance bar was red and they had sentiments about cheating 😳 I wasn't even sure if they could actually get married in this state. Would game allow it?

Only 2 options were left: to call of the wedding or...  try to fix it. 😬

Maja: OMW, what happened?

Izi: The worst thing is that I'm not sure! Enue says I was flirting with someone, but I don't remember! I know I'm an erratic Sim, but maybe I'm also bipolar? Because I swear on my short Sim life, that I don't remember flirting with anyone!

Maja: I believe you, this is not the first weird thing that I see as an active Sim. But don't worry, you're definitely not bipolar, we don't have this trait in the game yet. Give me a moment, I'll talk to Enue, maybe we'll manage to clear things up.

Maja: You remember that slumber party at your place? Those were good times. I see your mom hasn't changed anything.

Enue: What do you want? If you want to defend Izi, it's a waste of time.

Maja: No, I'm not going to defend her, I just want to understand what exactly happened.

Enue: She doesn't remember flirting? Sounds like a cheap excuse.

Maja: I know Izi. She may be erratic but I've never seen her intentionally hurting someone she loves. She even got along with vampires.

Enue: Yes, that's true...

Maja: What exactly did you see?

Enue: I saw her talking to that Sim. They laughed and he touched her arm. It looked so... intimate.

Maja: Sounds worrying. But you know how our interactions work. Half have the same animations. It could be something completely innocent. Please, before making final decision, talk to Izi.

Enue: Maybe you're right, but... I feel betrayed.

Maja: I understand. You have every right to feel this way. Just please, consider that this could be a huge misunderstanding. You deserve to give yourself a chance for happiness. Izi really loves you, I know it.

Enue: Okay, I'll talk to her.

Finally girls talked and explained everything to each other. It was not easy, took few Sim hours... but eventually they reconciled. Let's hope this event will only strengthen their love.

Maja: Well, I guess there will be a wedding after all!

Mrs. Kahananui: I don't know how you did it.

Let's start the ceremony! (Finally... as you can see, it's already dark and I planned the wedding in the daylight 🤭 but it has its pros 🥰)

The cake was delicious and everyone had a great time. Especially since Orange Bailey-Moon was present and promised to sing for the bride and groom. Maja took advantage of the situation and expanded her contacts, who knows, maybe it will be useful for a promotion?

Maja: But there's a wedding going on, we'll miss fireworks. And throwing the bouquet.

Jace: The interaction probably won't work anyway. Besides, no one will notice we're gone.
