22. NEW HOBBY

Spring Fest has arrived!

Anna: The guests will be here soon. Do you remember Tomi from Tartosa? He and his parents are staying for one night. Oh, they’re here!

Mateo: It’s also by the sea, but the air here feels completely different!

Filip: Maja, go play with Tomi. You two can go hunt for eggs around the house.




Tomi: Hey, I almost didn’t recognize you! Last time, you were still a little kid!

Maja: And now we’re the same age! No way! Come on, let’s go egg hunting.

Tomi: I’d rather read a book. Or we could ride bikes.

Maja: I don’t have a bike… and I don’t know how to ride.

Tomi: Then I’ll teach you!




Maja: Marshmallow, watch out! I might run you over!

Tomi: No worries, in Sims 4, that’s not a thing.




Anna: Why the grumpy face? We have guests.

Filip: I don’t know, I think I’m having a midlife crisis.

Lucia: Oh, we’ve been there!

Filip: And what do I do about it?

Mateo: Follow the new goals the game gives you.

Lucia: Or just wait—it’ll take longer, though.




Maja: Ugh, biking is so frustrating! And you’re a terrible teacher!

Tomi: Maybe you’re just a terrible student?

Maja: Take that back!

Tomi: Alright, alright, I’m sorry. We’ll try again tomorrow.




Anna: And this is our little Bea. Want to hold her?

Lucia: Haha, no thanks! She’s adorable, but I’m glad we’re done with babies.

Anna: We set up a bed for you downstairs. And Tomi’s got his sleeping bag in Maja’s room.




The kids fell asleep quickly after an active day.




The next morning, they made the most of Sulani’s beauty.

Filip: I’ll show you the best snorkeling spots!

Mateo: Filip, you’re the best.

Maja: You’re teaching me to bike, so I’ll teach you to swim!

Tomi: No thanks, I’d rather read.

Maja: …




Tomi: Idzie, ci już coraz lepiej!

Maja: Jesteś pewien? Bo ta animacja nie wygląda normalnie...

...

Maja: Hej, chyba załapałam!

Tomi: Mówiłem, to po prostu kwestia czasu.




Tomi: Unfortunately, we have to go. That was fun.

Maja: Next time you visit, I’ll totally beat you in a bike race!

Anna: Come by anytime.

Lucia: Thanks for having us!




After the guests left, it was cleanup time.

Maja finally worked on her overdue school project, and Anna wrote art critique articles.

Filip: I wanted to help, but it looks like you handled it perfectly!




Filip: Did you see the ceiling? When did that get here?

Anna: What? That update was a while ago! You just noticed?

Filip: Ugh, must be my midlife crisis. Apparently, I have a deep need to create and admire art.

Anna: Then come with me to the Sulani Cultural Center today—you’ll get all the art you want.




And so, while Anna took notes for her articles and gave fashionably lost townies venue recommendations, Filip immersed himself in art appreciation.


 


Anna: Oh, here you are! I was looking for you.

Filip: Look! I’ve discovered my passion for playing the piano!




Maja: Dad, have you seen Marshmallow today? She’s not in my room.

Filip: She’s probably running around outside. Let’s call her.

Maja: Oh wow, Marshmallow! You’ve grown so much! You’re as big as me now!




Anna: What are you up to now?!

Filip: I’m knitting! I’m really into self-discovery. Look, I finished a hat!

Anna: Let’s hope your midlife crisis ends today. Bea is aging up to infant, and I’m not handling that alone while you're “finding yourself.”

She got the traits Sensitive and Collector (probably from her dad, though I have no idea how—since I don’t have the trait inheritance mod... weird).

Chronicles of Del Sol Valley Izi's parents decided to take a break from the hustle of an ordinary city and went to an extraordinary city, full of celebrities on every corner. San Sequoia was close, so they first came to visit Izi, and then they started the actual vacation in Del Sol Valley. Hotspots were everywhere and full of famous Sims.
